My name is Steven Broun and I am a member of the Class of 2021 from Wallingford, Connecticut. Moving forward with my swimming career to the collegiate level, I not only want to continue building up my fundamentals and techniques, but also add new methods of training, workouts, and other ways to improve overall. One thing my coaches, teachers, and friends all will say about me is that I am a dedicated worker. Once I set my mind to something, academically, athletically, or otherwise, I let nothing get in the way of me accomplishing my goal. This mentality is a huge part of who I am, and I would like to continue with a swimming program that fosters this idea for the members of the team. I also am a large believer in the benefits of team collaboration. I like to push my teammates to go that extra mile, knowing that it will help everyone improve individually and as a team. I would like to continue these mentalities as I move my swimming career to the college level.
