Personal Statement
I have wanted to swim in college since I started competing at a high level. I love the competition of the sport, and the structure and discipline that it provides. In college, I hope to swim at a high level while focusing on coursework to eventually go to medical school or pursue biomedical engineering. I feel that I will not only bring fast times to a team, but also my hard work ethic and team support. I also love giving back and am interested in how swimmers can help teach younger kids about being in shape and pushing yourself to your limits.
