2017 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I have been a competitive swimmer since I was seven years old. My love and passion for the sport kept me motivated through rigorous daily practices, grueling meets, and awesome record breaking swims.
I have found that a truly great swimmer isn't made by fast times alone. Perseverance, hard work, being a team player and a team leader, all combine to set great swimmers apart. As I continue to develop both inside the pool and out these traits continue to strengthen my character.
I want my time in university to be filled with personal growth, a time to really stretch my boundaries both in swimming and academics. Above all, I will conduct myself with honor as I represent my school, coaches, and swim team.
I plan to study Accounting, with a view to pursuing a career in Finance.
