My name is Dominick Walker. I was a lifetime baseball player from age four until age 11 playing recreational and travel ball. After so many years of one sport, I decided to try something different. I considered cross country but the swim team sounded good as well. I live in Florida, so naturally, I am drawn to water. I made the high school varsity team my freshman year even though I had no formal training or experience. I have been swimming with my high school team and club swim from that moment on. Swimming gives me personal goals to set and accomplish as well as a team family that I love and respect. I am a very mild mannered, easy going person. My coach tells me I am very coachable and take his direction and corrective criticism well. In all honesty, I love to sprint and dread the long distance swims. I feel like I would be an excellent member of any team, and I am excited for the next set of goals in my athletic career. I appreciate your time and consideration.
