My ultimate collegiate goal when it comes to swimming and academics, is to further my knowledge and strength all around the board. To put this in a more understandable perspective, I strive to take challenging classes and continuing to give coaches and teachers my overall best performance in the pool, gym, and classroom everyday. The ideal everyday routine for me would be a day that is consistent and full of doing different things like studying/working out, and knowing what is expected of me to perform at my fullest potential.
A few examples that make me stand out among other students with similar goals as mine is that I focus all of my attention on the overall tasks at hand, making sure they get completed correctly, and that I get the best possible outcome for whatever I was doing. I like challenges as they make me feel more satisfied once completed. I may have learned new things in the process, and also the satisfaction of knowing I completed something I didn't envision myself being able to conquer before.
