While I haven’t been swimming my whole life, the past 3 years that I’ve spent in the water have probably been the best of my life. When I’m in the water, no matter how hard the workouts are, my passion for swimming stays the same because I know I’ll get better. I plan on studying biomedical engineering in college because of my love for math and science, as well as my aspiration to have a career as a surgeon. Despite the fact that I’ll be studying something I genuinely love, I still want swimming to be a large part of my life. For these reasons, I hope to continue swimming in college because I know that no matter the circumstances or things happening in my life, swimming is always something I can turn to.
