Of course, I swim. I treat it as a way to escape the difficulties that life provides, and getting through a tough practice and being successful has a potent affect on life outside the pool. Other than swimming, I have a sweet spot for music and playing my saxophone. It's one of the things wherein I can connect with people and build friendships, much like swimming. I'm a very logistical thinker, and that helps with my other interest. Not only am I a swimmer, I am a huge swim fan; I could research it all day. It's one of the things that help me in researching where I want to go to college. One of my goals is to get into a college and onto a team where I can feel comfortable and welcome in the atmosphere I'm handed. I want to be surrounded by a bunch of guys and girls who will push me beyond my limits, who will make every practice an adrenaline rush. In my college career, my goal is to swim fast enough that my contribution will do enough to make a difference as far as points at meets, and I'll do whatever it takes to get myself to that point in practice.
