March 2019Personal Statement
I've been a multi-sport athlete my whole life, but always found myself making it back to the pool. As I got older I slowly lost interest in all the other sports except swimming. I was supported through this process by my friends, family and coaches.
My family and friends have had a massive influence on my life outside of swimming as well. In school my parent are always pushing me to get high grades in every class, and having a competitive nature leads me to compete with my friends academically. My hard work has earned membership in the National Honors Society, and I volunteer at events and at our local hospital.
My hard work is focused on goal achievement knowing that it is a continual process and not a one time project. I have a strong support network and am very excited about the recruiting process. My goal is to earn a bachelor’s degree in business with a minor in management or history and start the next chapter of my life.
