Personal Statement
About Me:
Swimming has been my passion since I was 10 years old, and it has always been my dream to swim at the collegiate level.
As a highly competitive swimmer from Brisbane, Australia, I train with unwavering determination to achieve my goals, always pushing myself to improve. I am a multiple national, state, and regional medalist, and I have gained invaluable racing experience at these levels.
Beyond my achievements in swimming, I am also a dedicated student and leader in the classroom. In 2020, I recieved a scholarship to attend one of Australia's most prestigious and elite school Brisbane Grammar, to further my studies. As the 2023 School Vice Captain and 2023 Swimming Captain, I support, motivate, and encourage all of my peers and teammates to achieve their full potential.
In addition to my academic and leadership pursuits, I actively engage in a variety of service and cultural co-curricular projects. I have successfully raised funds for organizations such as The Starlight Foundation and the Push Up Challenge, and I have volunteered over 100 hours at the Lifeline crisis support organization shops. Giving back to my community is a passion of mine, and it brings me great joy to make a positive impact in people's lives.
Finding the right college match is of utmost importance to me. I seek to attend a school that challenges me both in the classroom and in the pool, where I can grow as a scoholar and a swimmer. As a member of a team, I aim to serve as a positive role model and a valuable contributor.
If you would like to learn more about me or have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me directly.
