Mohammed Al Masri '22 Recruiting Profile

I’ve been following many collages/ universities  swimming programmes for a while now and was impressed by your team’s performance during the championships against State throughout the recent years.

I am reaching out because I would love to be part of this competitive team as I graduate in June 2022. Besides, I firmly believe that my enrollment in your high-level programme will help me achieve a qualification time for the Paris Olympic Games (2024), which is my dream. Also, this will be the first time for a Qatari swimmer.

My name is Mohamed Mahmoud, and I am of Egyptian origin that I have lived and trained in Qatar since my first steps. I have represented Qatar in many national age groups and senior competitions for the last 6 years. 

Although I have worked hard over the past couple of years, few competition opportunities have been provided/in place due to COVID restrictions in the area. However, my times improve with every competition.

I can swim all events at a good standard; my focus is fly and IM. I was recently named the best Arab athlete for 16-18 years old (Arab championship, 24-27/10/2021; 17 countries).

I am a very committed and hard-working athlete; I believe that my PB’s will significantly improve over the next year, starting from may 2022, where the GCC Games will occur in Kuwait (17-22/5/2022).
