Personal Statement
Swimming has been my passion since I first dove into a pool at the age of five in Amman, Jordan. The sport has shaped my life, fueling my ambition and driving me to constantly improve. As I look ahead to my future, I am excited to pursue my dream of taking my passion for swimming to the collegiate level, where I can continue to develop my skills and compete at the highest levels.
I will be ready to enroll at the university in Fall 2026, bringing with me years of dedication and experience. Currently, I reside in Dubai, UAE, where I train rigorously and participate in various competitions throughout the year. My specialized events are the 50m & 100m Butterfly and 50m, 100m & 200m Freestyle, where I have consistently pushed myself to excel.
A significant milestone in my journey was achieving the Jordanian national qualification timings, which led to my selection for the Jordanian National Team. I had the honor of representing Jordan at the 2nd Arab Age Group Aquatics Championship in Doha, Qatar, in January 2024. This experience has only deepened my commitment to the sport, and I am working tirelessly to prepare for upcoming international events where I hope to continue representing Jordan on the global stage.
I am eager to bring my passion, work ethic, and competitive spirit to the college swimming program and contribute to the team’s success while pursuing my academic goals.
