Personal Statement
Hello, my name is Hadrien Le Gallais, class of 2026, and I am a dedicated athlete specializing in the 100 breaststroke. Throughout my life, I have explored many sports—rugby, tennis, track and field, and cross-country—but it was in swimming that I found my true passion. I began competitive swimming in 8th grade, and though I was initially outpaced by my peers, I quickly developed a strong focus on breaststroke, transforming challenges into opportunities for growth. After competing in the U.S. during 9th and 10th grade, I moved to Spain, where I now train with Real Canoe, the top swimming club in the country. My experience has shaped me into a disciplined and resilient athlete with an Olympic dream. I am excited to bring this same dedication, leadership, and competitive spirit to the college swimming program and contribute to the broader community with my passion for both athletic and personal growth.
