Personal Statement
I have always been believed swimming is struggling with difficulties in my life. I started swimming at the age of 3 in ENKA Sports Club, one of the best clubs in Turkey. As I started swimming at such an early age, I gained a discipline that would benefit me in the future. As a result of gaining this discipline, we as the team became the champion of Turkey when I was ten. Swimming has become a completely different and a pleasure for me.
I see myself as an ambitious and hardworking swimmer. I am not afraid of pushing myself in training and suffering as a result of this. Feeling strong in the water pushes me to work harder. I believe when I feel the purity and strength of the water in my body, I swim strongly into each stroke. I love this strength most in the breast stroke, and my main branch is breaststroke. And as a result, I was eligible to enter the national team.
In addition to this, I see how hard I have also pushed myself and tried to succeed academically.
As a swimmer, I would like to continue my student life in America, where I can better express myself in two areas. And, I believe that studying there will add me more achievement.
