Personal Statement
Hello!
My name is Arsen Kozhakhmetov, I am 16 years old and a 2023 graduate of the Astana Republican Sports School, Kazakhstan. I am a member of the Kazakhstan national team
In the pool, I have been an age group champion 25 times and hold 4 national age group records. I have also won national championships 5 times in my career, once in the 200 breaststroke and 4 times in the relays. Two second places in the 50 breaststroke and 100 breaststroke.I also took second and third place at the 19th Asian Age Group Championships in India. I am a breaststroke swimmer and a member of the Astana swim team. I have an award on my hometown team as the most decorated swimmer. I plan to develop my swimming skills and make efforts to get to bigger championships.
I have high academic standards and strive to graduate with the best grades. I will be competing internationally this spring and plan to get my scores up to 800-850 FINA points next year.
