The first 3 years including Crossfit Kids programme at local gym plus once weekly club S&C sessions with focus on bodyweight movements, speed & agility. Over past 3 years specifically have done 2x6-8 week strength cycles spread at the start of each season (short & long course) focusing on core lifts including Back Squat (97kg), Bench Press (90kg), Deadlift (160kg), Strict Press (55kg). In addition do one yoga / pilates session per week, 2-3 mobility sessions with 2-3 metabolic conditioning sessions. In the run up to the key meets the focus shifts to power, speed and agility.

Progressively advanced within local club. Due to pool availability only have access to 6 pool sessions per week - short course with 8-12 long course training sessions per year. Since the age of 12 have progressed along the Scottish Swimming Performance Pathway: 2 years District Regional Programme, 2 years Youth Performance Programme and, just recently (Aug 24) I have been selected to the National Junior Team.
