Personal Statement
I am Ugandan by nationality raised in a Christian household with 3 of my other siblings. My family, faith, and country are 3 of the most influential aspects in my life on who I am today.
My swimming training session was in grade 4 coming out 6th of 6 place position in a recent primary school swim gala. As a kid I always the water, water parks, and slides landing myself in the twice-a-week after-school swim club. Weaselling into the swim team.
Through swimming and sports in general I've learned perseverance, dedication, and commitment. With the amount of hours swimmers put in in the pool relative to other sports for what to the untrained eye look like a small improvement, swimming has taught me that good results take cumulative hard work.
Going into college I would like to study architecture and engineering in that niche. As I'm currently doing Phy, chem hl in high school.
Characters unique to me are a sense of team/school spirit whatever the case. Collaborating and pushing peers/teammates to collectively reach their goals as they too motivate me. All with a smile that never seems to leave my face.
