Personal Statement
My name is Chadd Ning, and swimming has been a significant part of my life for many years. Representing Eswatini in international competitions has been a highlight of my journey, and I am eager to continue this path in college.
Athletic Achievements: I recently achieved a personal best in the 100-metre breaststroke at the 2024 World Aquatics Championships in Doha. Competing in prestigious events like the world aquatic Championships and the jr African champs where I placed 8th overall in the 100m and 50m breaststroke gave me invaluable experience and taught me resilience and hard work. As a proud member of the Eswatini national swimming team, I consistently strive to perform at my best and contribute to our team's success. I have been working hard trying to climb the ranking in my country and am now currently first in the country. This puts me on trajectory for the next up and coming olympic games 24 paris as well as los angeles 2028.
Motivation and Goals: Swimming has taught me the importance of perseverance, teamwork, and personal growth. I aim to bring these qualities to a team while pursuing a degree. This will allow me to combine my passion for sports with a strong academic foundation.I am excited about the opportunity to join a college that values both athletic and academic excellence.
