Personal Statement

My name is Joshua Nel, a 17 year old international student from Johannesburg in South Africa.

My collegiate aspirations is to compete at the highest level that I possibly can, I think that I would be able to fit into any sort of college or university and strive and achieve at it. I am a very level headed and dedicated person willing to train as hard as possible to reach my goals. I would firstly like tone accepted into an American university or college and that is my main goal at the moment. I am hard working in the classroom and as far as I am concerned, my academics will take preference over my swimming as I believe that a higher education provides more scope and opportunities to people who are willing to make that decision.
