Personal Statement
I have competed at a national standard for about 4 years. My swimming career has recently peaked in the 2017/18 season with success in county, regional, and national standard.
I am Berkshire and South Buckinghamshire Senior 50m Fly champion.
I won bronze in the 50m freestyle at the South East winter regional championships.
I competed at the British Swimming Championships 2018 in the 50m fly and 50m free.
I also competed in the English Summer national championships 2018 in 50m fly and qualified for the final and finished 8th in the final.
I believe I am more desirable than other students as not only am I a determined and successful athlete but I also put 100% focus and effort into my education and understand that it is as important as my hopefully bright swimming career. I have found a way to efficiently weave my school work in with my swimming timetable and make sure one is not more important than the other.
