Personal Statement
I fell in love with the water when I lived in California at age 7. Coming from a military family who has moved ~2 years, swimming has always given me a place where I feel like I belong.
I train hard because I love racing and push to come into the wall first. Relays always increase this motivation to race because I know the 3 other guys want to win just as bad as me.
I am an Eagle Scout and challenge myself with tough classes at a top school in the Midwest, Iowa City West High School.
