I began swimming in third grade, I loved it right away. Swimming has always been a part of my life and has led me to great friends and great role models. It wasn't until this past spring (2016) that I began to train year round, and realized that I possess the potential and desire to swim in college. I am currently swimming long course this summer, and am seeing results in both my endurance and speed.
I love my current high school and club swim teams. The bonds we have created will last well into college and beyond. I'm VERY easy to get along with in any type of situation. I have a wide range of interests and this makes it easy for me to find a common ground with anyone. I'm also very competitive, I love racing in practice and at meets.
I look forward to finding a college team that feels the same way about competing as I do, and building bonds with my teammates, coaches and college friends. I am looking forward to a great college experience.
Update: 11/15/16
I will swim at Junior Nationals this December at College Station, and am looking forward to dropping time. I did not sign this fall for college and am looking forward to April. I know I can go faster and want to see what my options may be after my Senior season.
