William Rankin '19 Recruiting Profile

Swimming at the state high school meet will be one of the highlights of my swimming career.  While competing throughout the year, I started to see the impact committed leaders have on a team. These experiences helped me grow as an athlete and an individual. I was able to use these traits in both my track and football seasons. These experiences along with a successful freshman and sophomore swimming season has helped develop me into an athlete capable of competing at the college level. 

I am fortunate to have placed well at the state swimming meet my first two years of high school. I am excited to see what I can accomplish this year. I am committed to do whatever amount of work it takes to improve, and I bring that ethic to the people around me. I am looking for a program that will have high expectations of me both athletically and academically. As a successful three-sport athlete, I know that I will do whatever it takes to be a dependable leader on your team.
