Joey Kock '22 Recruiting Profile

I have been swimming competitively since I was seven (7) years old. Over the years I have experienced great success, but also difficult times where I did not know if I wanted to continue swimming. Since joining the varsity swim team as a freshman, I have improved physically and have become more mentally focused on what is required for success as a member of a swim team. A goal of mine while in high school is to become an influential leader at school, specifically for the swim team while qualifying for state in both individual events and relays.

I still do not know what I want to study in college, but I want to attend a school that will challenge me athletically while focusing on my academic aspirations which currently include teaching and other service related careers. I have a strong work ethic, am confident in my abilities and look forward to being part of a close knit swim team where I can make a positive impact.
