Hello, my name is Dominic and I have only been swimming competitively since my freshmen year at Derby High School in Derby, KS. I really enjoy working with the team and want to keep striving to get better. I just started swimming yearly this year for Wichita Swim Club, to work on my swim strokes and to keep in swim shape for the high school season. High school season starts November 15th, and will be swimming for Derby HS only until spring, then back to WSC. As of now my school gpa is above 3.1 and I still have not figured out what I am going to study in college but I do plan on going. I would love the opportunity to swim for a college that is willing help push me in swimming and academically.
Summer update 2022 -
This summer I have been swimming for WSC and the Derby Dolphins to help improve my conditioning. At least 3 days a week I practice 2 times a day. My goal this summer was to see if I could get into at least 3 events at the Missouri Valley District Championships in July and so far I have qualified for 7 events.
Update - I truly appreciate the schools that have reached out to me that want me to come swim for them. I have decided to enlist in the Navy, I will go to basic starting in June and will move to Florida for schooling to become an Avionics Tech. I am also looking into trying out for the Search and Rescue for the Navy.
