Evan Schoenhals '27 Recruiting Profile

I am a Freshman right now and just starting to think about what I want to do. I am most interested in a division 2 school because I want to be able to enjoy the college experience and focus on my studies in addition to swimming. I am an excellent student, I have a great memory and get straight A’s. I have been invited to join our school scholar bowl team, but it didn’t work with my schedule this semester. I am organized and methodical about the work I have to do and don’t procrastinate on my studies or projects I am working on. I make friends easily and enjoy helping and encouraging my teammates. I like to see them improve their times as much as I like to improve my own. I am often complimented on being very coachable/teachable, on my communication skills and what a hard worker I am. I love the water and am a talented swimmer and improving at each meet. I like to sail and have had a few rowing lessons. I also play golf and am on my high school tennis and shooting sports teams.
