Swimming the past couple of years has helped me learn responsibility for my actions and has shown me if you want something you have to work for it . When I started to swim back in 1st grade, I was doing it just for fun . That all change as soon as I did my first competition because I discovered that I love competition and swimming. One of my first coaches told me I had raw talent . Since then my goal is to be one of the best at whatever I put my mind on . I focus on taking my swimming to the next level with goal setting and technique focused training. I work side by side with my coaches and trainers to constantly work on the little things to improve my stroke. I love to race at practice and at meets. Sprint sets and test sets are always something I look forward to in the week. I hope to continue to train the next 3 years and find the next phase of my swimming career. If I don't succeed the first time, I keep pushing until I do. As my coach always says, "It's all in how we respond!"
