I will be honest, I have never actually competed or been on a team before. My high school does not have a swim team and I do not an adequate pool before but I have had a lot of personal training. When I was around 6 I was put into swimming lessons and within 3 years, I was in the top class with one of the best strokes. As time went I became very involved with the Boy Scouts of America. When I was 15 I became a staff member at a Boy Scout Camp. One of the activities was a mile swim. At 15 in the eighth grade I swam a 21 minute open water mile. Since then i have gotten much better, swimming a 19 minute open water mile. I can also swim a 550 in 6 minutes. My best stroke is the front crawl as I have been known to have had a perfect technique for. I understand if you look over this profile because I have little experience in the pool or in competition but my talents and lack of couching should hopefully provide you the opportunity to turn me into a great college athlete.
