Ever since I started competitively swimming when I was 10 years old, I knew that I would want to compete competitively for a long time, and I believe swimming in college is the way I can do that. As an Eagle Scout, I know that in order to get to where I want to go, I have to dedicate an endless amount of time and effort into it. This is what I do now and is exactly what I’ll do in both swimming and academics in the college that I go to. In a college, I am looking for Divison 1 or 2, with a high academic level. I don’t dedicate all of my time to myself, for I also push my teammates to do better in practice and in races by setting a good example, offering support, and even cheering for them during a swim meet.
