Hello. I am John Caruso. I am 14-years-old, a Freshman in high school, and I am highly interested to swim at the collegiate level. I swim breaststroke and my main event is: 100 breaststroke (SCY) going at 1:03.65. My 50 breaststroke (SCY) at Florida’s ISCA Elite East Showcase Meet: 29.55. I am strictly committed to go a 59.99 SCY on my 100 breaststroke which is my current goal. I am enjoying the 2024-2025 SCY short course season. This past summer I completed the Long Course (LCM) swim season with many accomplishments, such as: my 2024 LCM 100 breaststroke was: 1:15.23 (LCM), my July 2024 Middle Atlantic Junior Championship Long Course (LCM) Meet at Franklin & Marshal College in Lancaster, PA 400 Medley LCM Relay’s 100 LCM Breaststroke split was: 1:14.25 (LCM), and my July 2024 LCM 200 Breaststroke at the Middle Atlantic Junior Long Course Championship Meet was: 2:44.69 (LCM). Qualifying and swimming at the August 2024 Long Course Eastern ZONES Age Group (LCM) Championship Meet in Hampton, Virginia representing the Middle Atlantic Swimming Zones Team swimming 100 Breaststroke and 200 Breaststroke was a great opportunity for me to swim against the top Zones and the top swimmers in the Eastern USA region. In addition to swimming breaststroke, I greatly enjoy swimming freestyle and all relays.
