With about 12 years of experience and 5 years of competitive swimming experience I've always had a love for the water. Whether it came to blowing bubble rings or racing my heart out. I loved being in the water. Being a bit on the shorter side I've had to perfect my technique as much as I can so I can compete with some of the taller athletes. Working on DPS, and underwaters as much as I can. I've been able to absorb new forms of technique similar to that of a sponge. Which has played a big part in the differences in my times these past years.
Although technique does play a big part in swimming, you need to have a good build to put that technique to the limits, as well as yourself. During practice, if something is fast I will go fast and also try something new out. I enjoy tinkering my technique and always trying new things in practice. If I need position my feet better on my turns, or have my hands catch earlier in freestyle I will try my best in order to get it right, no matter how long it takes. When it comes to goals, I make a reasonable plan and do everything in my power to get the desired result.
