I'm very committed to swimming as I practice 5 times a week and weight lift 4 times a week. Not only do I love swimming, but I love being a leader. Being a Boy Scout for almost 6 years now has not only taught me how to be a great leader, but also, how to be a better person. On top of my athletic career, I coach a variety of younger, and some disabled, children in the pool. Only months away from becoming an Eagle Scout, I've learned to help my community in various different ways. In the summers I serve my community as an ocean lifeguard and I also had the privilege of representing my Beach Patrol in several open water swimming competitions. Because of my love for the water, I volunteered for a beach clean up organization. For my Eagle Scout project I will be building a permanently installed structure on the beach to assist with this volunteer organization's clean up efforts. As a committed swimmer you can expect me to be a great leader, and a hardworking , competitive athlete who is also very supportive of my teammates.
