Swimming the Mile...Personal Statement
As an artist, I can tell you that with everything you do in life, it's best to give it your all so that your "work of art" is as beautiful as it can be. This consists of hard work and dedication, two things I value highly in my life. It is also important to encourage others to be the best person they can be, relationships are a supplement to success, along with my values I stated earlier. Even on those days where the main-set in swim practice seems never-ending, or I feel like I am self-destructing myself, I refuse to give up. I know that hard-work at your worst is what builds character, and what will allow me to become the best person I can be. It's a firm belief of mine that hard-work beats natural talent when talent doesn't work hard.
I am humbled to say that I managed to garner a 4.3941 GPA along with being in the highest elite group of my club swimming team. I also managed to place Varsity in all the years (so far) of my High School swim team. Other loves of mine are Karate, cartooning, singing, and film-making.

- Our team SKYY just merged with Scarlet-NJW..We are the Lyndhurst satellite. Last year I had pneumonia during the championship season but ended at NJ Zones with some personal best times. This year I am up for more.

- Each year I have worked on my medical diagnosis of under developed muscles. I dedicated the past couple of years to karate where I am now a brown belt with stripes and worked on my dry land exercises to help with my development. I train about 2 hours of swim a day with only one day rest a week. This past year was my hardest training yet adding also occassional before school practices as well.
