I aspire to be apart of an athletic but most importantly an academic environment that challenges me. I began swimming when I was about eight years old and was apart of the Catholic Youth Organization(CYO) swimming program. I Made the varsity swim team for St. Francis Preparatory School my freshman year and have continued to swim Varsity throughout my high school career. I am driven by internal motivation and I strive for excellence in and out of the water. I currently club swim for the YMCA Flushing Flyers Aquatic Club as well. I have competed in the age group challenge(AGTC) for Metropolitan Swimming in 2014 and 2015, I am a qualifier Metropolitan Senior Mets in the 100 yard breaststroke, a zone qualifier in the 50 yard freestyle and a Ymca short course national participant. I realize that everyday there is improvement needed in and out of the water and I have the ambition to work for it. I plan on pursing the field of Law enforcement, Homeland Security and business in my college career as well as continuing to swim and be able to compete in the NCAA Swimming Championships.
