2022 Highlights Personal Statement
My swimming career began when I was just 4 years old, I could still imagine the fear of getting in a pool. It was a surreal feeling, almost as if I was transported into a different world. But the thrill of the experience would stick with me. I was taught by my sister; the oldest of my 4 siblings, the very basics of swimming and floation along with the essential skills of grit and perseverance. Thanks to her, I hope to bring my uncharacteristically dry humor and determination to refine my technique to a new level.
