I have been swimming for the past five years for a small YMCA team. I'm discovering that I am a distance swimmer with the recent addition of the mile this year. I have only swam it two times, but have done well. I set the school record for my 500 free this year, I dropped ten seconds in the last year. I'm a quiet and very hard worker, not only in the pool but outside the pool. I have to work harder than most because I struggle with dyslexia. While at times, I may mess up with how many sets are on the board, I don't complain because I'm always wanting to get better, no matter what that may entail. I enjoy the dryland portion of workouts, especially running. I ran in the off season to stay in shape and did a lot during the COVID-19 shut down. I am interested in a team that is close, backs each other up, and motivates one another to do their best. I enjoy friendly competition between my teammates as I feel like we can all make each other better by pushing each other.
