My name is Evan Lucas and I am a Junior at Loveland High School, class of 2022. I have been part of club swimming since I was six years old, and over the years, I have developed as a swimmer. I began as a free-style swimmer and then found my strength in the butterfly. Swimming club for years and more recently, with my high school team, I am certain I want to swim collegiately after graduation. I want to continue to push myself, and am highly motivated and committed to swimming at the rigorous college level. My coach and I are setting goals in order to help me realize my dream of swimming competitively in college. I am willing to continue working hard in order to achieve my goals.
Outside of the water, I have a difficult class schedule, taking AP and honors classes. My academics are very important to me. Music is also a passion of mine. I play violin as part of the chamber orchestra, which requires intense practice and performance time outside of classroom. I am also active in my church student life, mission work and musical groups. Throughout high school I have found that my extra-curricular activities and tough academic schedule have helped me be a well-rounded athlete, which I know will make me a great addition to a college team.
I look forward to talking with coaches in order to explore university and swim team possibilities.
