Background: I started competitive swimming in 2017, and have improved a lot since then (with many more improvements to come), I have always been surrounded by aquatics, my dad and uncle were water polo players, my granddad was a diver and we have many family friends who are swimmers or who have swum at some point.
Experience: in the 2018/2019 season I qualified for the International Children's Games and represented my home town (Windsor) in Ufa, Russia. (100 Back), (200 Back), (50 Back), (50 Fly).
In the 2019/2020 season I qualified for the Winter Ontario Swimming Championships for the very first time and represented Windsor Essex Swim Team (100 Back).
Near-future goals: For the 2021-2022 are to qualify for Canadian Junior Nationals in 100m Backstroke (LCM 1:00.11S) and to get recruited to a college team where I can compete at a high level and improve a lot. In terms of academics I plan on making the deans honour role for the 2021-2022 school year (90% avg or above).
