Hi, my name is Vasileios. I go by Vasili and currently go to Dallas high School. Swimming is such a big part of life, I love doing it and it is something that has taught me the importance of time management, hard work, and commitment; Things I use in my everyday life.
During the pandemic it was hard to stay motivated because my local pool was shut down for a long time, but I quickly realized if I don't do something about it then I shouldn't expect to get better. That's when I took the initiative and started doing home workouts and also making plans to try to go to different pools around the area that were open as much as I could to maintain a feel for the water.
Some of my goals I want to accomplish in the collegiate level is to be the best I can and compete at the highest level I can, while improving my leadership skills. One goal I have outside of the pool, would be to focus on school, and make sure I get the degree I need to do the job that I want. I think I would be a good addition to the team because I have a good team spirit, always support teammates and help them get better in practice, and of course I have a good sense of humor :)
