Standing on the blocks at states, looking around at my competitors, I realized this is where I belong. On a competitive stage where I can strive to be my very best. Since the age of six, swimming has been my passion. Seeing the hard work at practices pay off when setting personals records, drives who I am as an athlete. That drive spills over into the classroom where I maintain that same focus on academics. In addition to my personal success I find fulfillment in supporting a positive team culture in both swimming and baseball. As a teammate on the diamond and in the pool I push teammates to the their very best.
I'm searching for a college that will challenge both my academic and athletic goals preparing me for my future beyond college. My ideal college experience would include academic challenge, the completeness of sport, and the social side of campus life. My goals are to graduate with a bachelor's degree, win a national championship, and be prepared fora career.
