I had always enjoyed swimming but never had formal training until the Fall of 2022 when I joined the Methacton High School Swim Team as a Freshman. At first, instructions such as “swim a 100 Freestyle” were all new to me, but I picked it up quick. During practices and meets I gave it my all. As a result, week over week, my times kept dropping. By the end of this first year, I qualified and participated in both the PAC Championship and the PIAA District 1. In the summer 2023 and Fall, I joined the Methacton Aquatic Club, MAC-USA & MAC SAL Teams to continue to compete and develop my techniques.
Short-term Goals: Continue to develop on my High School swim team & qualify for the 2024 Districts, stretch goal: States. Identify colleges or universities where I can compete & represent my school on their swim team.
Long-term Goals: Attend a college or university that supports my education & career goals. Continue to challenge my personal swim records by competing on the swim team.
