Every athlete can achieve their goals through dedication and hard work. My dedication and hard work has allowed me to succeed my dreams and prepare for my future.
My career as a swimmer began in 2009 through swim lessons. Since then, I have joined the South Park Aquatic Club and done practices, swim meets, championship meets, and more. When I began high school in 2018, I joined South Park High School's Varsity Swimming Team. This allowed me to take my swimming career to the next level. Although it can be challenging, it is practice. It has allowed me to set new goals, improve my meet times, being disciplined, committed, and having a good moral character with positive attitude. I have achieved many goals by improving stroke techniques, meet times, going to WPIALS (regional meet) , and heading to PIAA state championship meet. I see myself improving in swimming with more goals as I progress through my high school year.
Academics is an important factor as well as swimming for me to succeed in my future. I challenge myself in honors and college prep courses and I succeed in all of my classes. My current GPA is a 3.8 and I have made high honor roll at my school. I participate in many school clubs such as Interact, Environmental Club, Unified Bocce Team, Academic League, Drama Club, South Park "Eagle Blues" Marching Band, Jazz Band, Concert Band, Mini-THON, Circle of Friends, and Partners. Outside of school, I participate in the Boy Scouts of America program and have been awarded the Eagle Scout rank. Plus, I having multiple leadership positions within these clubs and activities. I am an Interact Board Member, Secretary of the Environmental Club, Senior Patrol Leader of my Boy Scout troop, advisor in Principal's Advisory Committee for my grade level, and Assistant Drum Major for the South Park "Eagle Blues" Marching Band. My success throughout these years has been trying my best, working diligently, and completing my goals. I will continue to do my best, help people, and succeed through my academic career.
Throughout my years, I have continue and strived for success. It may be difficult but I continue to do my best and reach for the stars to achieve my goals. I am a hard worker and I know I will show greatness and succeed. I show great potential and opportunity to do my best for myself, my family, and my community.
