I have been swimming for club teams since the age of six. Throughout my swimming career, I have been on four teams. Having experiences with different teammates and coaches has taught me social and other invaluable personal skills. Due to my view of a team being like a family, I was awarded the Coach's Award during my sophomore year.
Outside of swimming, I have many interests and achievements, such as placing in Model United Nations competitions and National Honors Society. I enjoy being active and involved so I participate in Mini-THON, the French Club, serve as director of the morning television broadcast, and am the head photographer for the yearbook. I also play trombone for our concert band and sing in our chorus. I play varsity water polo for our school and competitively mountain bike for our local team. Outside of sports and school activities, I enjoy fishing, photography, hiking, skiing, mountain biking, rock climbing, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. I love listening to music and going to rock concerts. I have interests in cars, history, and general trivia.
