Anthony Hauglum-S...Personal Statement
I am a Junior in high school with a goal of going to a Division One swimming university that can push me physically and stimulate me mentally. I have enjoyed swimming in high school and have two silver medals at state last year and two All Americans to show for my accomplishments. My grade point average is 98.6 which I wish was higher, but I'm swimming all the time!
My dream would be to attend the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. I'm more of a sprinter than a long distance swimmer and I think my freestyle could get me there, if I had the right coaches and school program supporting me. Therefore, my goal right now is to get into a college or university that has a proven track record of sending their swimmers to the Olympics. I think I can.
