I just started swimming my Sophomore year in Highschool. I didn't necessarily make any sort of state times or sectional cuts or Jr. National cuts but I did make the Varsity team and I immediately jumped to the top of our distance section, IM section, and our Butterfly section on our Highschool team. Following the Highschool swim season I learned a lot about club teams and more about the sport in general and have completely fallen in love with it. I now swim for a club team and have shown excellence in there as well. I started by swimming with the okay section which was our Senior Silver and after about two practices I was already swimming in our fast lane with our fastest swimmers, some of which hold plenty of our team records. I may not be very fast but I do have the mentality and the potential to be a great swimmer. I'm really looking for a team that will not only push me to be the best I can be, but will also have a great fun atmosphere. At my Highschool swim meets I am the only person who is seen cheering for our team and our fellow swimmers. My highest cut right now is BB for the 50 Free in 15 - 16 with a time of 26.21. I consider that somewhat impressive for me being a distance swimmer. I excel greatly in the 500, 1000 and the 1650 free. I have only swam for 2 years and that includes competitively swam. I'm a strong all around swimmer and have a great attitude at practice and swim meets. I'm very supportive. On the topic of college aspirations, I have always shot for the stars. I wanted to be an Astrophysicist but now have changed into wanting to be an EMT.
