As a multi sport athlete, I am eager to find a school that will allow me to get started in the field of Agronomy while continuing my desire to swim.
As a student in a very rural area, the toughest part of being successful in swimming is the extra effort it takes. My pool is a 35 minute drive from my home, our swimmers have no bus to get us there and receive very little financial support from my school. Because of the situation, only very dedicated swimmers stick with this sport in our area and I am one of those swimmers who will do what it takes to be successful .
I have been in scouting since I was 7 years old. I am currently working on my Eagle Scout project for Boy Scouts. I am really excited about my project because I saw a need for a dog park in my hometown. Iwas able to work with the town to get a grant written for the park. I was successful in getting a $25,000 grant plus fund raised for an extra $7,000. We will begin the building of the park this spring so I can complete my Eagle Scout project.
