I only started swim after my father passed away i started to lose since of my diet and even though i was only five my family wanted me to be healthy, like any sport there comes a time when you start to regret doing it however it worked out for me because i started to dislike the sport right before the 2020 season and we could not compete but then i realized that i wanted to be in the pool so bad that i was trying anything i could to go swim. my freshman year i was focused on swim i did make a lot of improvement seeing as i had never swam 100 back or back in general it was not my stroke, however my coach told me to give it a shot and i did and i made state my freshmen year where i placed 14th overall and i was super proud of myself but i wanted more. After freshman season i decided i wanted to play with my senior friends and i played basketball and honestly i went to basketball more then swim i still managed to made it to state where i actually improved my time and placed 12th overall my time at the moment was a 1:14 and i was mad at myself so i started working out almost everyday i got the chance in the morning after swim practice anytime i got the chance this is my junior year and i had my coach hand time me and I've dropped 6 seconds and i only started focusing on it more once pre-season two weeks ago and i'm ready to improve a lot more over these next few months to hopefully go under a minute, my work effort is there the talent is there all i need is time to improve and i have this year and next.
