Jorge Jara '17 Recruiting Profile

Having been part of a military family has made me travel and be part of multiple swim teams across of different states. My senior year has been my best year of my Swim High School career, I have been part of other teams and competed at state level in California freshman and sophomore years, and my senior year I was part of the 5A team that reach Virginia State Championships final. Competing alongside with others high level swimmers make me that my attitude, work ethic and passion for the sport can not only impact my progress in the sport I am passionate about, but also impact my teammates swimming next to me.

The most valuable lesson I have learned throughout my high school career is that the team has helped me accomplish bigger goals and now I’m looking for a program that pushes me both my athletic and academicals abilities. I know I can contribute with my sportsmanship and work ethic to impact the swimmers at the team.
