I live in Port Orchard, Washington. As part of a swimming family, I have been competitive swimming for multiple local club teams and high schools, since July 2011. My club teams include OAC Swim club out of Silverdale, WA, Bremerton YMCA my current swim club, where I’ve been swimming since the age of 6.
As I contemplate college plans, I know that I want to continue my swimming career. I am still undecided about a major, but I am leaning towards a career in Engineering. Currently, I have no geographic or size constraints on my college decision. I have and will continue to take and pass all the classes necessary for me to become eligible for college/university admission. I have a current GPA of 3.3 (4.0 scale) and I have lettered all four years high school.
I'm confident that as I grow and get stronger that the 100 sprint events will develop quickly. I also like to swim the 200 Free/IM. My top events are the 50 Free (21.90), 100 Free (48.16), 100 Back (54.55), 200 IM (2:03.64) and 100 Fly (53.46).
My college goals are to receive a great education, a degree, and be a successful swimmer. I would love to swim at a school that is a leader in their conference or is striving to get there. I can see myself being a leader and a contributing, dedicated college team member.
