I started swimming with my local club team in Elementary school. When I started we were called Wild Waves, now WV Wild. I have competed in meets year round. I also have been doing Summer League, Sleepy Hollow Sharks, with a local Country Club since Middle School. My passion for swim really began during my Freshman year in High School. I have made it to our State meet every year in individual events and relays. During my Junior year, I placed 5th overall for the 200 Freestyle. I really enjoy being part of a team. I not only have a chance to make myself successful, but I also have the ability to help my team mates have success with relays. Outside of the pool, the team also hangs out together doing activities. I think that makes the team even stronger.
I have also been fortunate to attend the Southern Zones Championships with my Club team for the last 2 years.
In College, I plan to Major in Zoology. I have always loved animals, especially visiting Zoo’s. I would love to continue my swim career while obtaining my degree.
My times are competitive with other swimmers and I really feel I can do better. I am looking forward to my Senior year in High School and achieving new goals.
