My name is Nathan Edwards and I have only been swimming competitively for 2 years now. I have progressed quickly throughout these 2 years. For example: my 50 free has decreased from 28 secs to 22.51 secs. And my 100 freestyle went from 1:05 to 54.07 secs. I have not found my bottom yet . I am still dropping time with each meet. I went from 24.24 to 22.51 in one month in the 50 and from 59 to a 54.07 in the 100, all in under a month. I have continued to improve academically each semester. I have not found my top academically. My grades have been increasing from all the hard work and effort I put into making the most of my last 2 years. I have tested out of all the offered AP computer classes and senior year I am starting my dual enrollment classes at a nearby college. I'm working hard to find a good school to continue my academics and swim career. My main field of interest is computer science/engineering.
I have found my passion with swimming and computer science and would love to be able to do both in college. I feel I am ready to be more both as a swimmer and student and am so excited to get the chance!
